On June 30, team captains for the All-Star Game were announced: Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever and Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx. Clark received an impressive 1,293,526 votes, while Collier garnered 1,176,020 votes.

The complete rosters for the teams were revealed on July 8. Clark made waves by selecting fellow teammate Aliyah Boston as her first overall pick, followed by Collier’s choice of Breanna Stewart as the second pick. Clark’s team will be coached by Sandy Brondello alongside her New York Liberty staff, while Collier’s team will be led by Cheryl Reeve and her Lynx coaching team.
